I guess if I had a direction in mind for this blog, I might feel a bit more like writing… I’ve got half a dozen drafts, but haven’t managed to publish anything yet. Since I don’t have a clear direction, I’m not really sure where to start.
So lets start with me?
I’m a 23 year old corporate goth living in Western Canada. I identify as a corporate goth, meaning that I take the gothic culture with me into the corporate world that occupies me by day and pays my bills. Some have said I sold out, but I look at it as growing up. Either way, I never set out to become a goth, the goth trend found me, so whether I’ve moved on or the lifestyle has, I’m still left being me.
I went through a piercing phase in my teens, but after the collision and ensuing hospital visit, I woke up missing a piercing or three. I had my tongue pierced once I got out of the hospital, but not being thrilled with the position, I removed it too, leaving me with just my nipples pierced. Why those two were left but most others removed, I’m not sure, but I’m assuming maybe some nurse liked the look. Hope he was cute.
For some reason I need to pee a lot today, so I’m off. Aren’t you glad I shared?
